National construction equipment provider, with HQ in Central NJ, hybrid (3 days in) seeks a Accounting Manager level candidate with strong technical accounting exposure. Day to day includes Research accounting and financial reporting requirements, recommend accounting treatment for transactions based on such research and document the recommendation.Assist with m/e, q/e financial statement preparation Assist in corporate tax filingsUpdate and maintain accounting policies and procedures manual; monitor consistent application across company.Monitor and ensure timely identification of and compliance with new accounting guidance, provide GAAP interpretation and document conclusion.Candidates for this role should have:5 years of core accounting experience including understanding and application of accounting principlesExposure to technical accounting concepts CPA or track Great role, supporting the Director of Accounting and VP of Finance.
